MVRDV to transform 35ha industrial site at the Bordeaux centre

(Bordeaux 16 April 2010) Today the Urban Community of Bordeaux (CUB) decided to commission MVRDV to develop a masterplan for a 35ha stretch of former industry and military grounds at the right bank of the Garonne river. The project ZAC Bastide-Niel, with an envisioned urban program of up to 300.000m2 is regarded the most significant urban intervention in Bordeaux the coming years and will further extend the city centre over the river. více >>
