About The Opportunity: We are looking for a Junior Interior Architect to support us with creating amazing, sleek and welcoming design experiences. You’ll work closely with highly collaborative multidisciplinary design team members and devise functional and aesthetic atmospheres.
How we see the role & what you will do:
- Assist the design team under the guidance of the Interior Architect in planning functional, comfortable, sustainable and exciting fit-outs for food and culture.
- Collaborate on programming, concept/scheme design, design development and effectively communicate design intentions through verbal and graphic presentations.
- Create and develop design proposals through sketches, moodboards and mockups as needed.
- Support the development of design proposals regarding furniture and lighting during a conceptual/preliminary phase.
- Support the definition of a landscaping concept according to the defined look and feel of the space.
- Work with external consultants, contractors, product representatives, furniture dealers and fabricators.
- Generate finishing plans, specifications, and assist the team on material selection.
- Assist in the preparation of material outlines and assess quantities, costs and lead times.
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment and color palettes. Knowledge of finish materials and appropriate application is necessary.
- Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts.
- Support the Interior Architect reviewing submittals and shop drawings in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices and apply them to the projects.
- Resolve complex design issues with innovative, practical solutions and strive towards high-quality, aesthetical and functional design.
- Coordinate and oversee under guidance the installation of materials, furniture and other design elements.
- You’ll use computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans - AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Cloud (ID, PS). Knowledge of Revit is preferable, same as satisfactory rendering skills in a program of your preference (Enscape preferably).

This could be your job if you:
- You have a bachelor degree in interior design or related fields.
- You have min. 1-2 years experience, preferably in hospitality-related or real estate projects.
- You are based in Prague or Lisbon.
- You are organized, reliable, detail oriented, and can work independently.
- You are creative, disruptive and see design as a method for thinking outside the box.
- You are a strong team player with an enthusiastic approach.
- You are able to stay positive and calm under pressure.
- You are fluent in English.
- You have a passion for finding creative solutions to complex challenges. Nothing is impossible!
